My blog name not showing up as “live” link when I comment

  Hi All,

  Something’s changed with comments on my blog: http://solidgoldcreativity.com. When I leave comments on other WP blogs, my blog name is not showing up as a “live” link. Even when I leave comments on my own blog the blog name is not “live.”

  Any help much appreciated. SGx

  Usually that happens when a blog has been set as “Adult”, presuming it DID show as a link before.

  Go to your Profile page and confirm that you’ve got exactly that link in the spot marked “Website.” If you do, then something is wrong and you’ll have to contact staff http://support.wordpress.com/contact because there’s nothing about your blog that is NSFW. Except maybe that shot of George Costanza (I kid! I kid!).

  Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard –> Users –> Your Profile. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ and fill in the address of your blog and then click ‘Update Profile‘.

  Once you’re done click “Update Profile”. Voila! Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

  Note that there is a complete record of every post that you make to the forum on your forum profile page. Also note that when you mark a forum threads as “favorites” that you will find them listed on the forum profile page too. And everyone in the forum can access your forum profile by simply clicking on “Member” next to your username.

  Also NSFW means “not safe for work” as in adult content for mature readers that ought not to be viewed at a place of work.
