I would like white on my travel blog offline and connect online when I have wifi

@fahlap2 you’d be welcome to use one of our apps. You can blog offline then publish posts when you connect to wifi.

I recommend this for adding new posts, rather than editing existing posts offline.

You’ll be able to save the drafts locally on your device, and when you connect to WiFi, you’ll be able to publish those drafts to your site. :)

@fahlap2 you’ll need to set it up when you have a connection, and the site will need to be live. After that, you’ll be able to write posts while offline.

Are you using a desktop or mobile app? Only the mobile apps allow offline editing:

You have to start with a connection to get everything initially synced with the app, but after that you can write drafts and save them offline.

the app don’t work offline
– I launch the app online
– I get my blog normaly, it’s ok
– I close the app
– I turn off the connection
– I open again the appl offline
The message appear:
” wordpress.com failed to start”
“wordpresscom ran into an error 106”

From the info at the bottom of this page https://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/ it doesn’t seem like offline editing is available in the desktop app….

Note that the desktop apps need an active internet connection to work. The mobile apps can be used to write posts while offline.

@fahlap2 can you install and try the smartphone app instead? https://apps.wordpress.com/mobile/

Let us know how that goes.

For help specifically with the WPcom app, you’ll find both FAQs and forums for either the iOS or Android apps on that Apps page I linked to above. They use a different log in system to the one here, but you can register an account at the top of each forum page.
