  It’s possible that you accidentally moved it to the trash. Since it was so long ago, there isn’t anything more for me to dig into. Let me know if you have more questions about this.

  I can’t really help with self hosted sites. However, your webhost may be able to help you restore your site’s content. Or possibly the WordPress.org community:
