My blog posts link, but don't hit the newsfeed on Facebook like they used to

Not sure why, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, but the posts only publish to my own timeline page and don’t post to the newsfeed like they used to…do you know why, and can you help restore this?

Do you (or anyone else) access any other WordPress.com accounts on the computer you’ve been using? There’s a remote possibility that WordPress.com somehow has you logged in to your site and some other account logged in to some other places on WordPress.com.
Here’s a new (long and annoying) list of steps that would help us debug the problem. I’d appreciate it if you could try them out. It asks you to clear all browser cookies during step 6. That’s an important part of the debugging process, but might be annoying for you in your primary browser. If so, please go through these steps in a different browser.
1. Log into your WordPress.com blog. Go to your blog’s dashboard -> “My Blogs” -> uncheck “Facebook” under “Publicize”.
(On the “My Blogs” page, make sure you’re looking at the correct row for the blog in question.)2. Reload the page and confirm that the Facebook checkbox is unchecked.
3. Explicitly log out of WordPress.com (“My Account” -> “Log Out” in the WordPress.com bar at the top of the page).
4. Log into your Facebook account. Go to “Account” (upper right corner) -> “Application Settings”. Remove “WordPress.com” by clicking the “X” in its row. (If there is no WordPress.com row, don’t worry, just skip this step).
5. Explicitly log out of Facebook (“Account” in the upper right -> “Logout”).
6. *Clear all browser cookies*. This seems redundant, but there could be a bug in WordPress.com that left cookies on one of our other domains despite logging you out.
7. Log *back* into your WordPress.com blog. Go to your blog’s dashboard -> My Blogs -> *reclick* “Facebook” under “Publicize”.
8. Wait for the popup appear that asks you to “Authorize connection with Facebook”. Click that button.
9. If you get an option while logging in to Facebook to “keep me logged in” during this authorization process, check it.
10. You’ll be taken to Facebook and asked to “Allow” several pieces. Allow them all.
11. Create a *new* post on WordPress.com. Make sure the Facebook checkbox is checked, then publish the post.
Sorry for the long list. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks, but this did not solve the issue. My posts still do not publish to the Facebook newsfeed like they used to.

Are you using Publicize to publish and other blogs to this profile, or just this one blog?

Ok, we have no control over how Facebook’s Newsfeed operates.
What we do is post to your Timeline/Profile or Page. Facebook then adds it to the Newsfeed. As long as the post is appearing on your Timeline/Profile or Page, Publicize is working properly.
There are two common problems, but ultimately we have no control:
1. You are hiding/blocking posts from the WordPress.com app.
2. Your Newsfeed is sorted by Top Stories, not Most Recent.

I did, thanks. Their customer service is not nearly as forthcoming…imagine that from a 100 billion dollar company
