  Hi there,

  Go to

  My sites > Domains > Click on the Domain name musingsthatmatter.video.blog

  You will see an option change site address > Enter new name > Click on Drop Down Menu (.video.blog) & select .wordpress.com.

  perhaps I should just cancel the registration (been only an hour) and retry … but when I signed up for a free blog account, it DID NOT show the option of .wordpress.com… the only free option was .video.blog…. nowhere did I indicate i wanted to start a video blog

  I am worried if I cancel the registration, it might not let me have it back, as there are numerous warnings about losing the domain once you cancel….

  Hi,

  musingsthatmatter.wordpress.com is already used by someone.
  You can use the same subdomain again. The only option you have to use another name for your blog if you want .wordpress.com
