My blog was accidently deleted and I cannot get into it.

    I lost my site and cannot open my account so HELP! I’m not tech savvy! My blog was being hosted by a friend who told me he was not going to host websites on his server any longer due to health issues. He told me I could easily move my site from his server back to word press but he didn’t tell me now. I thought I could figure it out. I know I changed the url in settings (but to what??? I don’t remember!) and now it is down. Fortunately, the site is still there but only the first screen. Everything else is down and not recognized. Again, I am not tech savvy. I need detailed directions. But please, someone help me.

    http://ottercreekusedbooks.com/blog/ is a WordPress.ORG software install that we do not provide support for here at WordPress.COM, and our support docs do not apply to WordPress.ORG software installs.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums.

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

    The software provides the URL automatically because bloggers fail to post the relevant URL up front, and that means we cannot assist them without knowing what it is and where it is hosted.
