I still have trouble: i followed your instructions, and wordpress tells me that the account has been closed. I tried using another browser, same result. we are going round in a circle

Ok, the account under that email address still exists, it has not been deleted, and all of the sites under it (including the 3 you listed) are still active.
You need to:
1. Go to https://wordpress.com/me and click “Log out” near the top of the sidebar on the left.
2. Log back into WordPress.com with the email address you posted.
If you do not recall the correct password for the account, we have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

What error did you see when you logged out of WordPress.com and then attempted to log in with the email address you shared at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/my-blog-was-cancelled-without-me-wanting-it/page/2/?view=all#post-3862416 ?

it takes my email address and password but then a red box prompt comes saying that the account has been deleted, contact wordpress if it is an error
