my blog website domain can't be found anymore by any browser.
-
Hello,
I set my privacy for my blog back to public in the reading settings, but it won’t show up online. It was hidden for a while.
Here’s the URL: http://gaccsouthservices.com/ – the browser can’t find the domain.
Does it take a few hours until the blog page is online again?
Thanks,
Manuel MuhlThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It can take WEEKS. If you make a private blog Public, as far as search engines are concerned all the documentation they have on that blog says they are NOT to look at it. So they don’t. So they don’t realize it’s not private anymore.
The best way to accellerate the listing process is to somehow get an incoming link. Posting here in the forum as you have done should help, because search engines index this forum and will follow those links and realize your blog is public now. It could still take a number of days, and remember that you start over from zero in terms of search engine rankings. You do not return to the rank you had when you set things to Private.

I’m sorry, I think I wasn’t clear enough. I mean the URL/domain doesn’t work. I get an error message from my browser. Not the search engine, the actual browser can’t find the website.
thanks.

Yes I should, because the website was online with that domain before. Also, even the wordpress domain doesn’t work either.
The upgrade might have expired, but I can’t find where to see that.

ok I found out that the domain actually expired in July. But I can’t renew it. It says I have to update the DNS before.
Since I didn’t create the website, I’m not sure if the domain was create in wordpress or with an external registrar.
any idea how what to do?

according to a bill from July 2011 a domain mapping and registration was bought via wordpress. So the domain should be registered under wordpress. But I can’t find a way to update the DNS and the expired domain.
Thanks for your help.

The account / person / user that owns the upgrade is the one that needs to renew it or change anything with it.
You need to contact the person that set up the upgrades to have them renew it or transfer the upgrade to you so you can renew it.
