My blog will not show up in rss feeders
-
I have my reading settings set to full text, and yet when i use the Pulse reader app, my blog does not show up in a search and will not show my full posts in the reader. Also,I noticed the rss icon does not show up in the url bar like i read it was supposed to.

In safari, the feed seems to work okay, but my problem is that firefox does not show a feed and i use Pulse as my blog reader and it also doesnot properly show my blog. Is this something i can fix?

Your feed appears to be working properly for me in Firefox, and its perfectly valid.
Depending on your version of Firefox, you may just see a stream of data (which is what a feed actually is) rather than a fancy style.
Does Pulse give you any errors?

There arent any errors in pulse. i typed in my blog exactly with /feed/rss and the blog came up as a summary in the “text” option and full text like a normal blog feed in the “web” section. I typed in my blog as /atom and the feed came up the way i wanted. so in that way i’m relieved but still frustrated that searching my name in Pulse does not produce my wordpress blog in the results.
I still can only get summary text when i ask for feed, rss or atom, in firefox
Is this normal? I feel like i’m on the right track and i thank you so much for your help

Instead of /feed/rss, try just /feed/
/feed/rss is actually the RSS v1 protocol, while /feed/ is RSS v2.
As for summary vs. full content, you can control that via Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard.

Your feed is displaying full text now, but you may need to make a new post for some feed readers to re-load the feed.
