My blog won’t let me post a comment to my own site

I have tried several different times – from several different computers – to post a comment within one of my own posts on my blog, but it will not show up.
When I try to post the comment again, I get an error page from WP saying a duplicate comment has been detected…but my comments never appear on my site.
Any ideas?

Never mind. I just noticed that Akismet marked my own comments as spam! How weird is that?!?!

It’s actually REALLY common. Every time they get a new wave of spam they tighten up and this happens. Just unspam yourself for the rest of the day and after that it should learn.

May take a couple of tries. Your ISP has a history (Trust me, you don’t want to know) and that may be the cause.
