My bloggroll disappeared
-
A couple of days ago, my blogroll vanished from my sidebar. It’s still listed in links but I can get it back up.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have the same problem at http://www.onemuleteam.wordpress.com
At least I’m not the only one.
In the links section of my dashboard, they show as visible but I sure as heck don’t see them.

@onemuleteam, go to appearance > widgets and add the links widget back in. If it shows that it is in the sidebar already, click on the title bar, click the “remove” button, wait for the changes to save, and then add it back in to the sidebar.

My blogroll disappeared also (http://celesterelle.wordpress.com). The “Links” widget was missing, so I added it back. It then said that there were no options available for that widget. I checked to make sure that all of my links were categorized (which they were), so I’m not sure what’s going on. Any help would be appreciated!

WordPress is working on updates to the widgets which means that they are also having to update the themes. While this is going on, things might be a little flakey, but the few glimpses I’ve seen of the widget changes it will be worth it in the end.

There never have been any options for that widget, but there will be some when the widgets upgrade is complete. When you add it into the sidebar, and it pops open, just click the right end of the blue title bar for the widget and it will save. Wait to make sure wordpress is through saving, then visit your site and the links widget should be there.

“In the links section of my dashboard, they show as visible but I sure as heck don’t see them. “
Same problem for me… and for some reason the widget is no longer on the widget list. I recently changed themes… Any help would be appreciated.

My links have disappeared from the side bar. and I get the same message when I try to add the widget back.It says no option avaialable.
What should I do to fix this?

I tried that. If I add the ‘links’ widget that is when I drag & drop it to the side bar, it says no options for this widget. Earlier I would see it as show All links/Blogroll/ My links.
I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I really cant see through! Please advise.

I have the opposite problem. My blog roll is visible in my blog (twice, actually, on the right where it belongs and at the bottom of the left column where it doesn’t belong), but I can’t update it because all widgets in my right hand column don’t show up on on the widgets page. Interestingly, they don’t show up anywhere on the widgets page even though they show up on both sides of my blog page.
I see from other posts that themes and the widget feature are being updated so maybe it’s just a matter of being patient, but just in case this is something that has slipped through the cracks I’d appreciate someone looking at it.
My blog is: http://laurinwittig.wordpress.com/
Thanks,
Laurin

What you are seeing in the right hand column is a default sample display of widgets that appear when you have not actually added any widgets to that sidebar. Add a widget to that sidebar and they ones you see now will disappear.

OK I have been trying to follow and take care of the same sort of situation so I don’t have to bother you WP folks. Originally when I started my WP blog I retitled my blogroll with Photographic Links and Shooters and Blogs. I have been experimenting with different themes and must have screwed something up because like some other people on this forum I also do not have my blogroll. When I go into my widgets section I am unable to add my links to my left sidebar like I was able to in the past. What do I need to do in order to correct this problem?
Thanks for your help and suggestion in advance!
