My blogroll appears twice on my site

I only have 2 link categories, Blogroll and “Related Sites”. Ever since I added “Related Sites”, my blogroll appears twice on my site http://dareesinsights.wordpress.com. When I remove the second Links widget, “Related Sites” goes away and there is once again just one Blogroll. How do I keep “Related Sites” and still remove the duplicate Blogroll?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have modified the first Links widget to display “All links” (it was set to only display the “Blogroll”). Then, I removed the second Links Widget. So – you should now have “Blogroll” and “Related Sites” appearing. Does this work for you?

I am having the same problem as dareeinsights, i.e. blog roll appears twice at the bottom of the page on my site http://anaturopathiclife.wordpress.com. I would like the smaller version! I have followed bubel’s instructions but with no luck. Can anyone please help?

@anaturopathiclife: The theme you’re using has two columns in its bottombar. You have probably dragged the Links widget to Botttom 1 (= left column), but have added nothing to Bottom 2 (= right column), so the theme displays its default (which happens to be the links again). Activate any widget you would like to have in the right column and the links will go. If you want nothing in the right column, activate a Text widget (without writing anything in it).

Hi everyone :)
I am having a problem with my blog roll..I changed it to the title:
Other Newswire Blogs (blogs of other people in my class) but
Whenever I add a link to this it diverts to a new folder called
‘1357’ which has come out of nowehere! I didnt even create this folder or blogroll or whatever its called but now every link I add is coming up under
this title when I want them to show under ‘Other Newswire Blogs.’Please help! What am I doing wrong?

That is because you deleted the default links category. Links have to have a category assigned to them, and if you have deleted the default category (blogroll) then wordpress will make one up.
Go to settings > writing and set a category that exists as the “default links category” and then click save changes. You will probably have to go in and change the link category on any links that have the 1357 category (deselecting the 1357 category) and then when you have them all reset, delete the 1367 category.
