  I run two WP blogs, but one was recently taken down and re-established at a new location. I need to modify the blog registration on wordpress.com in order to re-connect it, as the dashboard (and iOS app) cannot connect to it. It may be something to do with the registered address being http instead of https. But the site is definitely up and running in the new location. I’d like to be able to administer it through the WP iOS app while on the road.

  Hey @dvw2, no worries. It sounds like you had a site here, the migrated to your own WordPress installation with another host.

  Are you going to use the WordPress app or Jetpack? I’d recommend the latter; if you’d like that, just be sure Jetpack is installed and connected. That will add several of the features you had on WordPress.com, and we can also help you get your old stats and followers transferred to the new site if you’d like.

  Or if you just want to use the standard WordPress app, I believe you should just be able to log into that with your wp-admin credentials. There’s a forum for the app if you have more questions: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/mobile/
