My Blog's Feed won't change to Summary View?

In the “Reading settings”, the option for Summary view isn’t working. I’ve tried switching the setting to Full Text, saving it, and checking if the description was possibly reversed but it was still the same. I switched the option back to Summary, saved, and it still looks the same as Full Text.
Anyone have an idea of how I can fix this and make the Summary View work? I would really like for my main Blog page feed of recent posts not to be so long/lengthy by showing each and every post’s full content :(
Hoping you amazing Tech people can assist me in fixing this ASAP ^_^ Thanks in advance!

Lastly, ASAP is a silly thing to post. We deal with threads in order in which they are posted and everyone here needs help.

Do forgive me, I apologize for that. Didn’t mean to sound like I wanted you all to skip everyone else. Also – I was wondering: Is that setting only for RSS feed? I wanted the summary view to also apply to my Blog’s main page.

The RSS syndication setting on the Reading page only applies to the RSS feeds. If you wish to split content in order have only post excerpts displayed on the front page of your blog with read more links following them, then you have to insert “the more tag” into your posts. Existing posts must be edited to include “the more tag”.
edit posts screen Then you can simply insert “the more tag” into each post prior to publishing it.Re: needing attention. Not to worry we are cool. ;)

Thanks for the blog compliment and also for directing other WordPress.com bloggers to it. I’m using the Inuit Types theme so I don’t have to insert “the more tag”, as it’s supplied by the theme under the Theme Options I can choose from. ;)
