My blogs wont publish

    they are there, on their own site, but when i hit my home button there is only my first three blogs. The other ones i post just dont exist. The options say the page is there but hasnt been published, so frustrating!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi madama2017,

    I’m sorry you’re having trouble publishing your posts! Let’s try to see if we can fix this for you.

    Have you checked the “Post Settings” for each post? You can find the Post Settings option on the top right of each post.

    Please check the following:

    • Is the post scheduled to publish at a later date?
    • Is the post pending review?
    • Has it been set to “public”?

    Hey madama2017,

    When I go to your page, I’m only seeing the three blog posts from July. When I go to archives for August, it’s showing me that nothing has been published yet in August.

    When you go to My Sites (your WordPress.com dashboard), then click on “Blog Posts,” are your blogs showing up under the “Published” tab or the “Drafts” tab? https://wordpress.com/posts/madama2017.wordpress.com

    Also, are the new ones you’ve published “Pages” or “Posts”? If you’ve been creating new blog posts as pages, they will not show up in the blog roll or archives, and you will have to recreate them as posts for them to show up. For more information on the differences between posts and pages, please see this support site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/.

    Thanks both for the help it appears that the rookie mistake of post vs pages has sorted this.

    Can I ask if you are referring to posts or pages when you say, “they are there”?

    And when you say “on their own site”, I’m not sure what you are referring to? Is there another site other than madama2017.wordpress.com that you are also using?

    When I go on your site, I see that you have 3 pages (Home, About, and Contact) I can also see 3 posts on your home page.

    The other ones i post just dont exist

    So when you are in the backend of your site (where you create posts and pages), do you see the other blog posts or pages you have created?

    It’s not a problem as I say I believe it’s all sorted. My first initial plea wasn’t compleaty clear. But it is all fine now. Thank you all for your quick responses
