Hello all.
I also have the same problem. I activated the blog and cannot post. It asks me first to confirm my email but confirmation email never reaches me even though I resent it hundred times.

I have reset the connection on my end, so you should have no more troubles. Let me know if you have any problems going forward, and I will be happy to take a closer look.

Hi, I’m trying to create a blog (http://tomasm92990.wordpress.com/) and it’s asking to confirm my email but I receive no email from wordpress to the gmail address I’ve given.

Looks like you may have added an invalid email address when you tried that. Can you try again and let me know if you have any more luck? Happy to help if not.

I checked the name again. The address is correct and I’ve been using that email today.

Not sure if my message was clear or not. I meant that I checked the name as I typed it and it was correct and I still got the error message. I’ve been using that email today, so I know it works.

I have the same problem. I have confirmed my email address but I still cannot publish. I only get the “draft” and “preview” options.
I tried confirming again, but still nothing. Can somebody help?

I’ve been trying to contact the support team for over 12 hours but no one has gotten back to me to explain how I can resolve the fact that I can’t publish my posts.
It is clearly something that I can’t solve by myself and I’m sorry to say I feel the WordPress team is not showing any interest because I haven’t opted for a Premium account.
This is not good stuff, guys. I’m really disappointing.

As I thought I had replied to you in your other thread, WordPress.com is “experimenting” today and tomorrow with a live chat support option. It should be somewhere on your dashboard.

it’s supposed to be there. They told us it would be there. Oh well, this thread is already flagged for staff attention, so I guess you’ll just need to wait it out. Most of the staff are in North America, and it’s 3am there now.

That’s 25 hours without an answer to a problem which has been caused by some WordPress bug.
I’m very, very disappointed in the poor support and will be switching to a different domain provider.
I thought I’d start out with a free blog to see how it goes before upgrading to a premium account. This is clearly not going to happen, now. If you are only going to give support to people who have paid, just be honest from the start.
What’s the point of having a WordPress blog if you can’t publish your posts and if the WordPress staff can’t be bothered to solve this for you?
The point is, there is no point.
