My Brand New Email Address Already In Use?

I would like to set up a new blog with a different email address, but I’m unable to do so. I am getting error messages saying that my email addresses are already in use. One of them *might* be – but I had just created the other one on Yahoo specifically to use on the new blog, and I get the same error message.
How can this be? And more importantly, how can I fix it?

Sounds like a job for the staff – explain things to them – they should be able to help – sometimes people fat finger the email and I have seen reports of plain false email addresses used to open a blog – http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Maybe if they contact staff twice the response will come back twice as fast? :)

Let us know both email addresses and any / all usernames involved and we can fix this for you.
