My categories are not showing

My categories Widget has not been displaying the names of my categories, it simply says no categories when I have about 15 of them.I tried removing the widget and adding it again but there is no change :( could you please tell me how to fix it. Looking forward to a response

Can we have a link to your wordpress.com blog, please, so we can see the issue? Thanks. On a general note, without having seen the blog, do you actually have posts in the categories? Categories will only show if there are posts in those categories.

Thank you for your reply wpvstp. The blog address is http://www.bloganubis.com, There are quite a few posts in each category, it was working fine before, I noticed that today it is displaying no categories.

your categories are showing up just fine for me I found this category on your
first post in the gray bar “Brand Hijacking” I browsed your site using
Firefox 3… What browser are you using when you view your site?Teck

I use firefox as well, I can see the category brandhijacking on my post, The sidebar, with the category widget is not displaying my categories.

My mistake I skipped right over the widget part you’ll need to contact
staff for this to be fixed because we as the forum volunteers don’t

Are you using tags or categories? If I hover over your “category” its shows http://wordpress.com/tag/copy-cat-logos/ as the URL. It should be http://wordpress.com/category/copy-cat-logos/ not? Strange, because if you were using tags, then the folder icon should say Tags and not Categories. Teck is right, better contact Support.

pretty sure i am using categories, cos it says 15 categories on my dashboard too.
