my category entry just comes up on my main page

  How do i enter text into category headings? whenever i write something it comes up on the home page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  [1] Have a static front page so that your home page will not display your posts: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  [2] As part of above step, you will specify a separate posts page.

  [3] Delete the posts page you specified in [2] from your menu and let you menu contain only category pages like it has now. This support guide teaches you how to delete menu item: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/#menu-item-settings
