My category links point to other blogs?
-
Hello,
On the homepage of my blog I see links of the different categories that I’ve associated my blog to. My categories are as such ‘Worklife’, ‘Nightlife’, ‘Travel’. We’ll when i click on these blogs it takes me to a generic blog page that contains blog entries from other blogs. I don’t want this. Is there anyway that I can change it so that those links when clicked only show entries from within my blog?I also noticed that on my side navigation it list out the different categories that I have. We’ll when I click on those links it only returns entries that are tied to my blog. This is how I want it to work for the category links that are displayed underneath each blog entry on my homepage.
I know that I can use CSS to display:none that div tag. But If I do that then the Comments link will disappear, and I want to keep that.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank You

WordPress.com is a shared environment among the blogs and that includes the categories. You’re looking at the tag system that lists the posts made by all the other bloggers here at wp.com including your own. I get a lot of traffic from those tag pages.
Solutions: 1) either mark your blog as Private at Dashboard -> options -> Privacy. This will also remove you from being indexed by teh search engines and the ping services. 2) grab the software from http://wordpress.org and find yourself a host. 3) Do a search here for ‘Lorelle tag’ to find her post about making Technorati tags with a javascript bookmarket thingie. You can convert it for categories and use it to add in links into your posts.
Hope this helps,
