My changes won't show online??

Hello, this is a simple and maybe dumb question but I was left with a wordpress site up and running by a local programer and he will not tell me how or why when I make changes and updates to my site they don’t show on my site. I use the admin address where the site was located befor it went to the hosting server and that is where I do the changes. Do I have to some how tell the admin page to update the site on the server. I have been making changes to it for weeks now but they naver apaer online. I have cleared my browser cache. Any help greatly apriciated. Thank you, Tim

Sorry but that is not a free hosted WordPress>COM blog. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for WordPress.org software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names.
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
