My 'Choose Images' button in Gallery Widget has stopped working

  Widgets – I can no longer ‘Choose Images’ to add to my Gallery Widget. The button does not seem to work anymore and absolutely nothing happens when I press on it. I noticed there is a change to the way images are edited when uploaded into posts today and wondered if there is a connection and/or if anyone else has the same problem or knows how to fix it. I have looked online and searched forums but haven’t found any help there. I am only using a tiny percentage of my media data allowance. Thanks in anticipation!
