My comment has not returned to my website

I have written 3 comments; the last one just a few minutes ago. Two are back on my website but the last one isn’t. I went back to that blogger’s site to see if my comment was still there and indeed it was. I clicked on my username to get back to my website but the comment still did not appear in my dashboard. What do I do? I would likee to keep a track of all the comments I have made and who’s sites I have visited. Please help as this is the first time I have ever used a blog site and I’m not always sure I’m doing the right thing.

do you mean you cannot track your comments via the my comments section in dashboard? if so, i think you could wait a day or two, because eventually it would track your comments. if not, that’s a bug and you should report to feedback.

“Do you mean you cannot track your comments via the comments section in dashboard?”

Yes!! That is exactly what I mean. Thank you for clarifying what I was trying to say. Also, thank you for your advice. I will wait a couple of days. I just thought it strange because the other comments I posted practically appeared instantaneously on my dashboard.

For the future, do I just have to scroll down the list of forum questions until I get to mine or is there a quicker way?

If you click on “View your profile” in the upper right corner of the forum pages, you will see a list of threads you have commented in and a list of threads you started. There is also a tab for threads you have marked as favorites in there. :)

I noticed that as well yesterday. It started working again right before I left for the evening.

My problem resolved!! Didn’t realize it could take this long to track comments. I just wanted to thank everybody for their response and input.

I just read drmike’s post from March 30. I hope I’m not spamming anyone by showing some courtesy and acknowledgment to my fellow-bloggers.

we welcome appreciative comments. It also lets us know we can stop debating the solution between ourselves ;-)

*chuckle* I don’t. Some of the biggest BS I’ve heard in a long time.

“Oh, it’s only three words. It must be spam!”

I do webhosting and I encourage folks to thank others as much as possible. Especially here since we’re all volenteers.

    I should digg that post…
