My comments are being flagged as spam

For the past few weeks Akismet is flagging my comments as spam. I know this comes up often in the forums, and I’ve read the proposed solutions (esp. re-training Akismet by retrieving the false positives), but after rescuing more than a dozen of my own comments from the spam list, I’m still getting flagged.
I don’t know if I should de-spam 10, 100, or more of my comments. Is there a faster, more straightforward fix? I’ve noticed that Mark has fixed this for a couple of other bloggers recently.

You should de-spam all of your comments that are in spam. Every one there counts against you. But it’s also time-based, in that Akismet literally takes some time to process the information that you’re not spam. Did you do this all at once?
Mark will be back on duty Monday, so if it’s not fixed by then drop him a line using your Feedback form.

Hi Raincoaster, thanks for your note. No, I didn’t do it all at once –I’ve been doing this for some weeks already. I think I’ve de-spammed all of my own comments, though there’s one or two at other people’s blogs that were flagged and never recovered.

Well it should have learned by now, then. Send a Feedback Monday and hopefully they can force the system to stop grabbing your comments.

When you send in your feedback to staff catenary, make sure you send in as much detail as possible and as many of your comments that were spammed as possible as I know things will go smoother if you have some links to the comments that were spammed.
