My comments are not accessible on my dashboard?

  I am new to WordPress, and new to blogging. I posted a comment to a blog. I went to review my comment under the dashboard (Comments I’ve Made), but it just tells me I must first make a comment before I can review one. I attempted to view my comment under the original blog. It shows up, but in parenthesis it says (waiting to be modified)? Help.
