My comments are not appearing on other blogs

I have tried to comment on four blogs this morning. One has appeared but the other three disappeared into the ether.

is it possible the other blogs are using comment moderation and your comments are not approved yet?

Sorry – thought I was posting to ‘Staff Answers’ but I seem to have posted in ‘Support’ again.

The blog where my comment did appear this morning sets comments to moderation and when I posted, the ‘your comment is awaiting moderation’ message came up on their blog – as usual.
One of the other blogs is set similarly but my comment simply disappeared without any ‘moderation’ message. The other two blogs don’t moderate comments and my comments on those simply didn’t appear.

I understand forum etiquette with regards to multiple threads but I was hoping – with the second thread – that I would be able to post to ‘Staff questions’ rather than generic ‘Support’, until I realised that this is currently for people with upgrades.
I had to open a third thread in response to supernu as my comment replies weren’t appearing due to the original problem.

I just tested it by trying to comment on a blog – and once again – the comment hasn’t appeared.
Do I need to give it a certain amount of time, Kardotim?

I’m getting this problem too. I tried contacting Aksimet but I’m not sure whether my comment got sent to them – it just takes me back to “How can we help?” page and when the form opens up my details are still sketched in.

I already contacted them and sent mail twice at (email visible only to moderators and staff) but they replied once long time ago and just said me to fill out a form to test comment. I am waiting since then and there is no response. Each and every comment of mine is fading out. Please help. Thanks.

Could you please try to contact them again? the Akismet team is responsible for our spam filters that filters comments, they can help you further with your issue.
