My comments are not linking to my blog.

  The comments I leave on other blogs are not linking to my active blog. My active blog thefourthagreement.wordpress.com is correctly set as primary blog. But when I scroll down to website (in users: personal settings) it shows http: mothererased(which is the name of my active blog, but not the url) and it does not allow me to change it (says email is already linked…or something like that).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Provided you registered more than one blog under the same username account you can change the primary blog your username is linked to here > Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings

  Scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ and enter the URL for your primary WordPress blog and then save changes.

  P.S. I forgot to say that the change is not retroactive. It will be reflected only in new comments you submit after making the change.

  It is not allowing me to do that. It says “error: the users email address is already set to the email address entered”. ??

  Im not sure why it says this, since I am trying to change the “website”, not the email. ? Other suggestion? I’m really at a loss. It started off my comments were linking to my blog, then they were only half the time and now they aren’t at all. Im sure it has something to do w/ my inactive blog which I have deleted.

  It is not allowing me to change the URL under webstie (users personal settings). It says “error: the users email address is already set to the email address entered”..

  Are you making that change here:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Make sure you’re starting your URL with http://

  Let me know if you’re still having trouble with this!

  Ohmygosh it worked this time! I don’t know why..i was sure I was in my acct the other times as well. (I clicked on admin and then users instead of going right to users..not sure if that made the difference). Thankyou!!
