My comments do not link to my blog
-
In comment threads, a commentor’s name is typically a link back to their blog. When I leave a comment, it is not. It is just static text. I’ve looked all around and not found a setting that corrects that. I found a thread here but it did not answer to that.
How do I ensure my name as a commentor is a link back to my site?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Try this: At Account Settings > Web Address, enter your site address, then save the change.

Thank you. There were several places with Settings, but I found the right one eventually.

You’re welcome. : )

The phrase “Account Settings” in my response above is a link to the Account Settings page, https://wordpress.com/me/account. -
Let us know if entering your site URL in the field labeled “Web Address” there, and saving the change, doesn’t do the trick.

I’m still finding that your comments under the display name (nickname) “Don,” on the posts Pluto’s Cave and Into the Maelstrom, for example, are not linked to the website address.
-
I meant that the name “Don” on your comments is not linked to the website. So maybe my suggestion wasn’t a fix. I’ll call for staff attention. Staff will respond here.

Hi folks, previous comments won’t automatically be updated with a link, but new comments going forward should have them.

Thanks!
So on the comments made prior to the update you could edit each one individually to add the link. This can be done in the editor of each comment at My Site → Site → Comments, where there’s a field labeled “URL.”
