My comments do not show

  Since yesterday, when I try to post a comment on someone else’s blog, they seem to disappear in the online nirvana. After I hit “post comment” it just disappears. It also does not show in my dashboard under “comments I made”. This happens on sites I have been already commenting on frequently and without problems. It also does not say “comment waiting for approval” or something like that. Anyone had this problem before? (I did just empty cookies and cache, signed out and back it.. no change.)

  It’s possible that your comments are being held for moderation.

  Are you logging into these sites using your choices12013 username/email address?

  Please provide a few links to specific posts on WordPress.com where you have tried to add a comment but were unsuccessful, and I’ll take a closer look.

  Hi! Thanks for the quick reaction!
  Yes, I am always logging in via my choices12013 account.
  It would be strange if the contents were held for moderation – the last few times I commented on these sites they appeared instantly.

  As for the posts I tried commenting on, they are the following:

  With this one I even tried to send the message a second time (I had copied it before because I was getting suspicious), thinking I maybe had hit the “cancel” button by mistake. But when I tried to re-send it, I got a message from WordPress “oops you sent that one before” (which was true)

  With this one I sent two comments – the second one after I deleted my cookies/cache, just to check if it was working now (they were different comments though).

  Could I have ended up in the spam folder of all these blogs? (But I am only writing nice things! ;-))
