my comments in BNI do not show

    For years I used to reply and comment on subjects posted in BNI (Bare Naked Islam) a member n WORDPRESS with no problems. About 2 months ago I noticed that my replies are not posted. A couple of days later I did not get any emails from BNI. When I got in touch with the owner, she advised me to get in touch with WP, since she has no control of what is happening. Please, let me know what is going on.

    This site is NOT hosted by WordPress.COM barenakedislam.com. It is not on our servers as it is hosted by hosted by Cloudflare, and we do not provide support for it. there is a contact page at http://barenakedislam.com/contact-bare-naked-islam/ and you need to contact the site owner directly. They alone choose whether or not to approve and display comments submitted to their site.

    What I posted above is correct and that person need to check her email account spam filter.

    I followed your advice about the spam issue. No problem there. Not one post from BNI is in the spam folder.

    I have no such problems with other sites, which are many.

  • Hi @ronyvo, the site is not on our servers, so I can’t access anything to see what may be wrong.

    To be clear, WordPress.com is a service. WordPress.org is free software someone can install and manage on their own. It’s like the difference between a restaurant and a recipe — there isn’t an official staff for the free software.

    My best guess is that your site owner, or perhaps their host, has installed something or made some change that introduced an issue. But as WordPress.com has no control over that we can’t really help much to troubleshoot. I’d advise the site owner to look at https://wordpress.org/support for troubleshooting ideas.
