my comments on other are being rejected

This is really weird, and has even left me with the thought that I may stop blogging. Recently, my comments on other blogs are being rejected. Not on all, but on many. I have thought through what I wrote, and I am appropriate, practicing good etiquette, and am not a spammer. My comments are sincere, not just to get links. My blog not monetized.
What could be the issue here? Could there be a system issue of some kind? What about Akismet? I am new to blogging, and this is very discouraging.

I don’t know how to help you with this. It sounds like your comment protocol is in order. Are the blogs you left comments on that do not get posted wordpress.com blogs?

We don’t see anything in Akismet that would be stopping your comments.
In this case, I’d have to say that it’s more than likely the moderation or blacklist rules on the individual sites, and we unfortunately have no control over that.
Keep in mind that some sites also hold first-time commenters for manual approval before they can comment freely.

Are you putting links in your comments? Sometimes when people do this to be helpful the spam filter catches them.
