  Even when I am logged in, I am unable to post comments on other blogs. My comment disappears and the blogger never gets it.

  What are the URLs of these other blogs? If they are not hosted by wordpress.COM that could be the issue.

  If they are hosted by wordpress.com and/or if the sites use Akismet go to https://akismet.com/contact/ and click the link and select:
  I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake
