My comments section has disappeared!

  The comment section on my blog doesn’t show up anymore. How do I get it back? I have tried all of you directions. My blog is Two Rights Attempting to make a Left!

  Hi there,

  Clicking the “Allow Comments” checkbox on the page you linked should allow the comments to show up.

  Jill,

  Please double-check the setting to “Allow Comments” under discussion on the post (Daily Prompt: Person of the Year). It doesn’t seem to be set.

  Once you click the checkbox, you’ll need to update the page by scrolling back to the top and clicking the blue “Update” button.

  If you’re unable to save the setting, please let me know and I can save it for you.

  Double-clicked and saved. No comment section showing. I’m using mobile and full version of wordpress. According to which machine I am on. Does that cause a conflict?

  I’m currently able to see the enabled comments for your post in both the mobile and desktop versions of your site.

  I just want to make sure that we’re talking about the following page:

  Could you try opening the page in a different browser to see if the issue is specific to your current browser? It’s possible that you’re seeing a cached version of your site. You can try manually refreshing your browser’s cookies and cache to see the most up to date version of your site.

  I checked all of that yesterday and I clean out my history and cache regularly. I even re-loaded wordpress mobile and checked IE and Google Chrome. Still no comments. But now, on my new posts, they are there…… Thanks for you help. I do not know what we did, but we fixed it! Comments weren’t showing on the entire blog, not just that one post.

  I’m glad the comments are showing up for you know. I double-checked your settings to make sure that comments on new posts are allowed globally.
