My Community widget showing extras

I have tried checking the ‘include activity from likers’, then ‘from followers’, then from ‘commenters’, but it makes zero difference to the gravatars shown.
Why not ?
The collection is small enough for me to know EXACTLY which person fits which category …The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I don’t see the My Community widget on your blog. Did you remove it?
In any case, as far as I know the images in the widget don’t update immediately if you change a setting. I’d suggest you give it time and as people like, comment and follow new gravatars will appear. I could be wrong, though, as I haven’t used that widget in a long time.

I did, Kokkieh, because it was showing gravatars I don’t want included – apart from the fact that if I have chosen, e.g., include activity from followers, it shows the gravatars of people who have merely commented and are not followers.
In other words, the selection one makes appears to have no bearing at all on the gravatars that get shown. -

As @raincoaster confirmed, you won’t see the change immediately, as the cache has to update first.
I can understand it showing gravatars you don’t want shown. Part of the reason I removed mine was because it mostly showed gravatars for spam followers, and I didn’t like the idea of sending them any traffic. Not the most useful widget, if you ask me, but some people like them.

But, Kokkieh, it’snot that I’m waiting for things to change: this is a new site, and I’m completely on top of who is following me, who has merely written comments and who liked things … the numbers are small.
And the gravatars showing do not match them.
Never mind: I suspect this must be another widget – like the milestone – that still has holes.
