My contact details appear on my contact page

  I’m a new WordPress user and just published my Contact page. Why do my own contact details (email address, wordpress site etc) appear on it? How can I get rid of this as I don’t want my email address to appear – that’s why I have a contact form!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  Your details should only appear on your Contact page while you’re logged in to your WordPress user account. Try logging out and see if the details still appear. If this is the case then you needn’t worry about others seeing your info when they visit your Contact page.

  Hello there,

  Try logging out of your WordPress account first and then visit your contact form page. If you are logged in, your details will display as the default values.

  Thanks occupyla and marklchaves for your time and help. I tried logging out of my WordPress account and my details did indeed disappear from the Contact page! I’m sure I’ll get the hang of this soon… :)
