My content is only displaying in the center third of the Screen

Hello I am new to wordpress and I just downloaded the argent theme however whenever I try to edit the post I can’t edit the width of the first group. And the same follows for when I try to create a post/page (example: https://s1imeg0ds.wordpress.com/?page_id=41&preview=true).
How do I edit it so that I can edit on the whole window instead of only the center of the page?

Hey there, Argent doesn’t support full-width blocks. It’s designed to have a relatively narrow content column. You can see what I mean here:
https://argentdemo.wordpress.com/2011/07/07/the-places-ive-been/If you like to simply type and add pictures and post, and let the theme do the layout for you, Argent will handle your content the way the demo does.
And the block-based themes are designed for more layout flexibility if you’re interested in creating your own layouts. If you’d like a somewhat similar look (dark menu, large cover block, and your own layouts below) you might like this one.
