My country is not supported!!! (Anymore)

  I am trying to upgrade my domain name and hosting, yet my country is unsupported! Last year it was supported!

  I still have four days and my domain name will expire!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.

  The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.

  Hi Chantal, what country are you in? Are you trying to renew with a credit card, or via a PayPal account?

  I live in Lebanon and my debit card is Visa Electron and its new.

  Unfortunately, Lebanon is no longer supported for the type of credit card transactions that we do through PayPal as our payment processor. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

  You may want to try an alternative route, by attaching a credit card to your PayPal account, and making the payment directly through PayPal, instead of your credit card.

  If it does not work, please let me know so we can find another solution.

  Hello Kathryn,
  I tried this, yet I also received the same message, and it’s that PayPal doesn’t with an unaccepted country.

  My domain name expired yesterday… I will loose all the followers that I have been building up for 3 years now!

  woodcraftproductions – could you please try attaching a credit card to your PayPal account, and making the payment directly through PayPal, instead of your credit card.
