My coupon codes aren't working!!!

Hi ok I have used several coupon codes to try and upgrade with you guys and none of them are working!!!

Where did you find these coupon codes? We have not recently issued any discount coupons for any upgrades, so the codes you found are most likely fake or long since expired.

The coupons are off of retailmenot.com they aren’t known for creating fake coupons. I was trying to upgrade to the middle package, I need to put video on my site.

None of those coupons were issued by us. We do not put coupon codes up on sites like that.
The coupons on that site are added by users, not by the businesses, so there is no guarantee that they’re valid.

If you are not giving or honouring coupons, when going to renew my subscription, why was I asked:
“Have a coupon code?”
I was in a good mood when I started. What this tells me is that WordPress has given other people discounts in the past. But not me.
And you plan to give others discounts in the future. But not me.
Do you have something against me?

Have you canceled a WordPress.COM upgrade previously in the distant past for which a redeemable a coupon code was provided? If not then there is no issue here at all.

We do at times use coupons, but that does not mean any coupon a random person posted online, claiming it’s for WordPress.com, is actually valid.
I am closing this thread, as there is no support issue here.
