Hi, I purchased my site from Namesco and currently have a free site. I am looking at switching to a more professional site. I have purchased Microsoft through them and dont want to change that. Will this have any effect?

These are great questions.
On WordPress.com you can use a domain that’s been purchased elsewhere, and you can still continue on with your custom email solution. No worries.
You’ll want a hosting plan which allows you to connect that domain. If the project does not need third party theme, plugins, or use of a full ecommerce store then the premium option is a great starting place.The email works through your hosting provider (which will become us). As long as the domain remains active and with an active hosting plan the email will continue work. Here are some more details about that process below.
