My custom domain not showing in the address bar. Help please.

    I have bought “iccep.eu” domain name from blacknight solutions and mapped it to my wordpress page “iccepeu.com”.
    After initially typing in the custom domain (iccep.eu) and being directed to the site, it then shows the iccepeu.com, why?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hope you’re doing well justjennifer. Nice to “see” you here :)

    Looking at the account I can see that iccepeu.com was registered here with WordPress.com as part of your personal plan. The other domain, iccep.eu, is mapped here as well.

    It sounds like you want folks to see iccep.eu when they visit the site is that right? It’s just a matter of adjusting the primary domain on the account.

    Hi staff-zinnia, thanks for your reply. I tried your advice and made iccep.eu my main domain but now it says “This page is not working”. Both iccep.eu and iccepeu.com couldn’t be reached. Should I wait for a bit?

    The domain iccep.eu is still only redirecting to iccepeu.com instead of being mapped at your registrar. Can you also update the domain name servers on the iccep.eu address?

    Login to Blacknight where the domain was purchased and update to these name servers, removing any that still point to Blacknight.
    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

    The first step of mapping to connect the domain in WordPress.com was completed, but not the second step of updating the domain settings from what I can see.
