My daily upgrade from 3.2 to 3.5

    It’s groundhog day. Every morning I power on my Windows 10 PC and start the WordPress app from the task bar. Soon a message appears asking me to upgrade from 3.2 to 3.5. I check my current version in “About” and it says 3.2 so I download and run the upgrade which is successful. I’m now on 3.5. This happens every morning and it is getting a little bit irritating. The upgrade asks whether to upgrade for just me or every user of the PC. I’ve chosen both options but I still return to 3.2 overnight. Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    Here are some things to try:

    1. Run the installer of the new version as an administrator. Right click on the installation file and select run as administrator.

    2. Uninstall the previous version and perform a clean installation of the new one.
