My “Dashboard” Toolbar is missing

  Dear all, :D

  For the past few days, when I log into my blog, I have found on a few occasions that the toolbar for me to access “My Dashboard” is missing. At the bottom left hand corner is a little note that says “Error on Page”. So, in order to access my dashboard, I would go the the “edit” page of one of my posts and get into the dashboard page from there.

  Has anyone experienced this or know what to do? I’m afraid I am not too IT savvy.

  What browser and operating system are you using?

  As a first step, I would log out, clear your browser cache, delete your cookies and then log back in.

  Thank you for your advice – I got my daughter to help me do what was mentioned…..but the dashboard toolbar is still missing sometimes. This is the error message that was shown after having done that :-

  “Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar.

  Oops, sorry….I just read an old thread on this same problem……tomorrow, I will get my daughter to go through all the recommended steps there and see if it will work for my blog. :wink: If this toolbar problem still persist, I will post here again to ask for help.

  If your dashboard is disappearing then you will need to reload your browser and clean out your cache and cookies.

  Ah, finally I got my dashboard toolbar back in place ……my daughter and her friend had followed the instructions on this thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=13844&page&replies=34 . :D
