Hi. Thank you for responding.
I have no desire to keep his account active. If I make his site private, what does that mean ? Would I be able to continue to review the content on-line?
Is there a way I can download the entire blog? .
Thank you!

Hi, if you make the site private, only you and those you’ve added to the site will be able to see it:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/It is possible to download all of the content, but converting it into something usable can be a bit trickier. There are services that will convert the data into a book, for example. What kind of format would you want to use if you don’t keep it as a private WordPress site?

Probably just a word document. I am not interested in any comments or the people that liked a particular entry.

Hello there,
It’s possible to download that as such with the help of a plugin.
Short of that, and without access to the site you would need to copy and paste the content into a doc if the site is publicly visible.
There’s a quite a bit of content there, so doing this in bulk may be the way to go, in which case you would need to look to transfer ownership of the site as detailed above.
A plugin would require the business plan, and we can help with getting this set up if you manage to transfer ownership.

As long as you have access to the site to create an XML file why not try
