my default widgets disappeared! help me please!
-
I noticed a few days ago all the default widgets from the theme dissapeared like hit counts, post history, etc could it be because I tried Guttemberg? that´s the only change I´ve done but wasn’t quite happy and went back to the oldest editor. Also changed theme and came back to the one I have just to try to reset all the setting but didn’t work neither. Any other option I can try?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The widgets disappeared because of the theme change. Whenever we change themes on the blog, we need to reassign custom menus, place the widgets again in the proper widget locations.
This happens because each theme supports different menu and widget locations. I reassigned the widgets again when I came across this issue on changing the theme on my website.
Hope this helps :)

Just noting theme-changes shouldn’t result in lost widgets anymore so long as the same widget areas exist in both themes. But if you do lose widgets, you can find your old widgets by scrolling down here:
https://elkiosko.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php
They can then be added to any of your widget areas by dragging them back up to the top.
Thanks for your help here, @yashitamittal11 !
