My deleted anonymous blog is still my default username.

    Hi.

    I opened my wordpress with an anonymous blog (and anonymous username). I then started two public blogs using my real name, and deleted the anonymous blog. But the anonymous blog’s username appears to be the default, and it still shows on my profile. (It’s the same email address on all of them.) I can’t have this if it’s showing as public.

    I only want my public blogs to show on my profile, and be the sign in information. I tried to start over with a new email, but it won’t let me use my blog names, even though I don’t have content on them yet.

    I want to upgrade my public blogs to professional, but I won’t do that if the anonymous blog username is visible to the public. That blog had sensitive information on it, and I don’t want it associated with my real name. That was the whole point in it being anonymous. (And yes, again…I did delete it.)

    Can you help me? I’d rather not start over on a different blogging site, but I can’t have this anonymous blog associated with my professional one. And I don’t want to spend money until I know I can remove it and it won’t show anymore.

    I figured it out! There is an option to replace your username with a new one. I couldn’t use the new blog names, but I was able to come up with something new.
