My deleted blog still shows up on google but not my new one.

  I decided to delete my old blog –
  http://alexandraspiceley.wordpress.com/
  But it still shows up on Google and says this blog has been deleted. What I want is for this blog to disappear completely.

  My new blog
  http://alexandramayspiceley.wordpress.com/
  Does not show up on Google.

  What can I do to permanently delete my previous blog so that it doesn’t show up when people Google me?

  That could take 3-6 months in general, and as long as it is there, and outranks your new site, it will show up higher in searches.

  You can use Google webmaster tools and tell them to remove those old pages/posts/site from their indexes, but in my experience that might or might not happen, and it might take several weeks to even a couple months, and then it can magically reappear again later.

  You would have to do the same thing with Bing and Yahoo, but in the case of Yahoo, they never seem to delete anything from their indexes.
