My deleted post won’t dissapear from my list of headings

  Hi,

  If anyone can help me out I would be very grateful as I have been having this problem for a while now and i cannot seem to figure out what to do.
  I wanted to change my default home page which was a post into a static page. so firstly i created a new paged titled ‘home’ added the content and selected it to be my home page via the settings. I then went about deleting the original post and it said it was successfully deleted but the problem is, is that it still exist on my blog as a tab to choose from so i now have to home pages although one of them doesnt house any content and its jus a redundant tab. if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated Thanks, Chris.

  The best way to take care of this is to create a custom menu and then include only one “home” tab. Using a custom menu gives you a lot of flexibility including the ability to add external links and have drop down style menus. You can also include categories in there as well.
