my deleted site is still clinging on to my domain

    I created a wordpress.com site with the domain: iceblock-media.com. I then decided I would host it on another custom server so I deleted my site and made it on my new server but the old deleted site still holds my domain name and I can not use it because the old site still uses it and won’t give it up.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    A WordPress.com site can’t retain the domain if it is registered elsewhere. If you are still seeing the domain load your WordPress.com site, this is due to something called DNS propagation.

    I see that your domain is currently pointing to a different host, and it loads a site hosted elsewhere for me as well. You may need to wait up to 72 hours for the DNS changes to take effect.
