My Digg 3 has decided to add sidebar 2 to the main page in the center

Just moments ago, my site decided to place all my widgets in the right-hand sidebar under the last past on the main page . . . and then place the usual wordpress and theme detail sin the sidebar . .

I’ve gone into the design, widget, sidebar 2 and reset them, click save and still no change

I then went in and dropped the number of posts to 12 viewed on front page from 15m still no luck . .

    Here’s the site’s url . .

try dropping the number of posts to one. That will allow you to see which post has the problem. Once you’ve identified it, take a look at the width of the images as well as the code. Usually the problem is that an image is too wide or there is an open <div> in the code.

Plus it only happens on the Home page, if I click Next Page at the bottom, or click a linked articl, the side bar reloads properly . . . but even reloading with a fresh browser, or after rebooting a fresh browser, the sidebar #2 still attaches its self to the base of the main page right under the View next page link.

Any ideas as this is our main page, and we have some of our supprters on there and contact details which need to be up top.

Will check that out and give it ago, thanks . . . All the images usually have strict height and width settings to fit inside the main column, as I’m fussy about that.

narrowed it down to post number 10, so I’ll go through that to see what’s up, will keep you informed, many thanks .

Apparently it didn’t like a Read More I added . . .. Thanks for the tip, will definitely keep that on ein mind .. and lay with the other posts to see if they are also causing issues . .

    Again, many thanks.

The Read More causes many problems because it has a tendency to split DIV tags. If you edit the code and make sure you have opening DIV and closing DIVs on the same side of the Read More, it will work.

excuse my ignorance mate, but where/what are the div etc . . is thatthe code between paragraphs or various media html code etc ??

I’m very new to this and it’s a fly-by-wire sort of thing for me.

    WP ate my comment!

I said: Div tags are one way WP makes our paragraphs. P tags are the other, although they don’t use them so much anymore it seems. You don’t need to worry about it if you hit ENTER just before putting in your Read More, because if you do that there is no paragraph for it to split.

ahhh . . . thanks for that, I can see now where I went wrong then . .

I placed it at the end of a line of text, where I ‘usually’ place it in between paragraphs or text and media . . I got it now . . Just have to get my head around making anchours inside a post now, any leads or direction to go to to find out more on that . . .We have some LONE Q&A’s coming up, and scrolling through them would be a right pain in the you-know-where.
