My display name

  WordPress is not showing my updated display name. I changed it today in the settings section but it’s still showing my old name. Why isn’t it changing?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your display name is the name that is seen on your posts and comments.

  I see that my display name is finally showing the new name I chose. But when I did a search on my old display name on Google to see what would come up, my posts show up using the old name. How do I change that? I don’t want searches to use my old display name.

  My old display name is Tanya Kiesha Thompson. My new display name is just Tanya Keisha.

  You can’t change that. You can only make more comments using your new name hoping to push the old name off Google.

  I was also wondering if there is a way to hide my comments on other people’s blogs from Google searches. I don’t mind it finding my blog, but does it also have to see all my comments?

  No, there is no way to do that. Comments don’t have a lot of googlejuice, so just make more posts and you’ll soon push your comments to a back page of Google.
